![]() ![]() That since we entered the park using our ticket they would not refund any portion or offer a voucher for a future launch. ![]() When we asked about a refund for the portion of the package that had gone unused we were told there was nothing that could be done. ![]() The launch was moved to Sunday evening and we were unable to change flights to attend. At the time we were supposed to board to be transferred over for the feel the heat package to view the launch at the Saturn five complex we were informed that the launch was scrubbed again. We entered the park on Saturday and did the main visitor center portion only as we were told that we would be bussed over to the Saturn 5 complex later with our package. We were flying back out of town on Sunday so that worked. The launch was scheduled for a Thursday and was scrubbed and rescheduled for Saturday. We purchased tickets for the Feel the Heat package for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children ages 4 and 7). It is a massive complex requiring a lot of walking so make sure to put the best walking shoes on! Had an enjoyable time, quite different from the Houston Complex, but enjoyed exploring both. i recommend that you bring a water bottle container so you can refill at the water dispensers in NASA. If we would have known the food were not that great at the food court at the Apollo area, we would have brought or packed some fruits to saved us some time queuing in the food court. The Space Center is massive so visit the more important places if you only have one day - these are the simulators (which are quite an experience!), the Artemis, then the bus ride to the Apollo Center, shuttle experience (separate fees apply) then back to rocket garden where you can explore extensively and see and attend the astronaut talk or the training and other interesting areas - these are near the exit area. Mind you, we we there Tuesday and was busy regardless. this will save you time by bypassing the long ticket queues and directly queue to the security gates. Cheaper and convenient to book online for admission fees. We booked a day trip transportation separately and used go city all inclusive pass for the admission fee. but if I would have more time, would spend a couple of days to explore the areas my husband and I missed. Costume or character masks: Guests cannot visit Space Center Houston wearing costume or character masks.A whole day affair.Aerial drones: Visitors cannot use aerial drones at Space Center Houston.Camera accessories and equipment: Large camera equipment, tripod of any kind (tripods, monopods, gimbals and selfie-sticks), action cameras (GoPros, DJI, etc), external lighting, aerial drones, camera lenses longer than six inches, and audio equipment are not allowed at Space Center Houston.Pets: With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted at Space Center Houston.Guests are welcome to use the outdoor picnic facility near the front entrance. Exceptions can be made for meals necessitated by dietary or medical needs. Food and coolers: Large quantities of food and coolers are not permitted inside the facility.Alcoholic beverages: Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.We do have storage available for luggage. Luggage: “Luggage,” such as oversized backpacks, large duffel bags and suitcases, cannot be brought into the facility.Any item that is in violation of state or federal statues is not permitted.
